Professor Yunus advocated a firm policy of "No Going Back" to the old world in his speech on 26 June 2020. He focused on how to redesign the world economy in the post-COVID  19 world.

He said, Corona virus gives us all a common opportunity to reflect and think about how to redesign the whole system and get into action. The old world brought us almost at the last stage of our existence on this planet through global warming, wealth concentration and massive unemployment that is being brought about by growing practice of incorporating artificial intelligence in workforce. The world should not go back to where it came from before the corona virus. We must not go back to where we were. It was a terrible world that we are coming from. So, we want to go to another direction, a new world, so that all those terrible things do not exist.

Professor Muhammad Yunus called for unification of the world to make the Covid-19 vaccine a globally common product, with no patent rights belonging to anyone. A total of 111 influential international personalities including 19 Nobel Laureates, 32 former heads of states, political leaders, artists, and head of international development organizations showed their solidarity by signing the resolution. On the eve of his 80th birthday, on 28 June 2020, Professor Yunus was greeted by important international personalities and representatives from various organizations.
