GHS Donates One Day's Salary to Flood Relief Efforts

Grameen Health Care Services Limited (GHS), a leading player in the healthcare sector particularly in the Eye Care treatment, has announced a significant charitable initiative to support flood-affected communities. The company has donated a total amount of BDT 17,48,738 which represents BDT 2,48,738 one day's salary from its employees and BDT 15,00,000 from GHS main account, to aid those impacted by the recent severe flooding.

The donation aims to provide immediate assistance to flood-affected individuals and families, addressing urgent needs such as food, shelter, and medical care. Grameen Healthcare Service Limited's initiative highlights the collective effort of its workforce to aid in recovery and rebuild affected communities.

"We recognize the severe impact these floods have had on many lives,” said Shamsul Haque Ahmed the Managing Director of Grameen Health Care Services Limited. "By contributing a day’s salary, we hope to provide some relief and support the ongoing recovery efforts. Our employees' willingness to participate in this initiative is a testament to our shared values and commitment to making a positive difference."
